People always defend the various thought about religion, politician, culture, etc. when the issue is health especially their children, they ignore all thought and try to find a remedy. Today, there are various methods at cure. We can classify that at two main chapters: conventional, nonconventional medicine.
Conventional medicine is entirely supported by science. So, this is the most reliable and preferable choice. The most important reason is that it is suitable and persuasive for unbelieving and devout people. This method comes to proofs and all things it applies is acceptable and logical. On the other hand, it is suitable for devout people because all the religions especially Islam order to pay attention to science and want people to develop about science. Therefore, all devout people have to consider the conventional medicine and always find a cure at it.
Nonconventional medicine only tries to solve problems of the devout people or incurable people. This is also an alternative medicine to science. For example, a patient can be taken to hospital, and can be also apply some alternative medicines and the relatives of the patient can pray and cry for help to God.
Nowadays, accepting only one of the treatment and rejecting the other is nonsense for us because we all know that they both is sometimes inadequate separately. The science can get assistance and the other is too. We should not see unilaterally.
There are many majors in a university. A high school student has to choose a major which fits his/her ability and s/he like to learn about. These majors can be classified into four faculties: The Faculty of Education, The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, The Faculty of Engineering, The Faculty of Medicine.
The first one is The Faculty of Education. This faculty includes all majors which are pertinent to education such as Language Teaching, Social Science Teaching etc. It teaches to the students how the people are educated a subject is explained. The students receive such great education that they can educate people of all ages successfully. Students who concerning to teach everybody without any segregation must prefer this faculty.
The other one is The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. This faculty includes the majors which are related to administration, politician, finance, etc. It wants the students to professionalize on organizing and manage people, and to be good at monetary policy. Another one is The Faculty of Engineering. This faculty takes in the majors such as electrical engineering, industrial engineering, genetic engineering, food engineering, etc. Its purpose is to professionalize individuals preferring one of these majors in the field of designing, conception. Creativity is the most important condition which is wanted at this faculty. The students preferring this faculty must be broad-minded and have ability on creativity and architecture.
The last one is Medicine Faculty. It includes the majors such as doctor, nurse, veterinarian etc. This faculty takes improving health of all creatures as a goal. It includes the most difficult but the most demanded majors. For example, a student wanting to be a doctor has to struggle six years at least. The students who prefer these majors must not forget its difficulties.
The Faculty of Education must be preferred the students loving to teach. The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is ideal for the students wanting to improve themselves in the global field. The Faculty of Engineering is the best decision to students who take pleasure in creating and innovation. Medicine Faculty is the only option to the students enjoying from curing patients. It must not be ignored that every faculty has many difficulties and easiness, but what is important is being able to decide on true faculty.
Education system has always been the most complicated issue all over the world. Despite of all struggle, nobody like and wants to change. Nowadays, a system called “global curriculum” is on agenda. This system is believed to be the best education system worldwide, and that is thought the suitable for all communities, management. There are many positive specialties of the global curriculum.
Thanks to technological developments, people who want not to go to school and not believing the unsuitable and ineffective for them or their children provides the necessary materials for education. People can learn all lessons via internet, television, satellite channels. Nobody has to obey the governmental rules and governments don’t have to legislate detailed as well. Governments only make out the money for education and materials.
Global curriculum is the only system that it offers equal opportunity to all students regardless of their financial statues, religious factors. All students learn the same level lessons their own home under the supervision of their parents. Even if students are so poor, they can receive training with the fabricator’s children at equal grade.
Some claims that global curriculum degenerates our tradition and culture; however, the system of global curriculum determines the superficial draft and doesn’t interfere the content. The ingredient is rewrite by national commission.
To sum up, children who work or other can be educated with this system. Because, the government give away the materials like internet, computer… Accordingly, this curriculum is the most suitable for our education.
Game is a good ways of enjoyment. Everybody who wants to cheer up and forget the life’s gloominess easily throw in. I watched a movie, called “The Game”, about game. I supposed it to narrate what the game is how the game is played; however, I was shocked because it is not a game. It is extremely real. When we analyze the movie, we can easily notice the proof of its reality.
The first and important proof is breaking into the main character Nicholas Van Orton‘s house. The guns are so heavy that their bullets devastate the wall, the windows, and all things. Playing a game, the first rule is not to give harm anybody. I wonder if it is a game, why Conrad wants to kill his brother? In addition, the other proof is Nicholas’ keeping to be locked in a taxi and throwing overboard. I think that scenes can’t be disregard.
In order that embezzling Nicholas’ wealth, his brother wants gangsters to kill him. The gangsters is using so heavy gun that the bullets shattered the entire house. If a bullet strike to a man especially Nicholas, can he be survive even so. Nicholas run away not to be killed and he has to be fall down a garbage container from a huge building’s balcony. Even if he escapes, he can die while jumping. When those scenes are watched, it is seen that it is not a game.
After learning all bank passwords, he is put to sleep, taken to a European country, and buried penniless. He escapes the grave and arrives to his hometown without help. If this is a game, he would be supported secretly. When these events are considered, it is easily realized that it is not a game.
To sum up, a game doesn’t harm anybody and it always entertains. We saw that “The Game” is not a game because the thing called game doesn’t put on the trouble but the main character will almost be killed. The result is so clear.
I’m a busy man. When I am going to my office, I suppose that I ignore my spouse and my children. Because I work to sixteen o’clock and when I come home my children have just went to bed so, I feel so sorry. Should I have a husband it will be quite good.
I want a husband who will work at my office when I’m having my time with my family. I want a husband who will deal the workers at my office when I’m going to movie with my spouse, playing various games with my children during all day. I want a husband who will go to pay my all bills.
I want a husband who will repair all breakdowns in my house if it occurs. I want a husband who will drive my car when I want to travel far afield. I want a husband who will wash the dishes, clean the house when my wife wants. I want a husband who must go shopping and always have much money for pay all expense like marketing, hospital, entertainment. I want a husband who is scolded by my wife, when a trouble occurs.
For short, I want a husband who will be servant to my wife, my children, and me and complain about nothing, and love and be respectful to my wife.

I have watched two movies which are Angela’s Ashes and The Miracle Worker. When I want to compare these movies, several differences and similarities appears. For example, the hero of Angela’s Ashes, Frank McCain encounters the financial barriers, but Helen Keller, the hero of The Miracle Worker, is in trouble with her physical handicaps which are deafness, blindness and muteness. In Angela’s Ashes, there is a situation that everybody is in the poverty and they struggle it; however, in The Miracle Worker, everybody has just accepted the condition they are in and nobody interrogates and tries to go over their handicaps. In Angela’s Ashes, while everybody is poor, in The Miracle Worker, everybody is quietly rich and can reach everything they want. I may say the only and most important similarity is that, in each movie, the hero can find a solution for his/her handicap. As a result, each movie describes its main theme successfully. After watching, by yourself you can take some advices like I can do or I should do.
I would not believe, when it’s said to me that there may be paradise in the world, but it has been true. When I was coming to Vatan Hostel, in Denizli, I supposed that it was real paradise. As I entered there, at that moment I perceived the comfortable atmosphere in it, and I admired its clean and soft carpets. In addition, I mustn’t forget to mention about its garden.
At first a large and splendid garden welcomes you. In the garden, a lot of various trees, flowers, and plants fascinate you. There are three entrances to the garden; one is the main entrance, the other is back which is used by servants and another is the student entrance. Entering garden from the main entrance, you will see very huge fruit trees and very nice decoratively trees on the right and a large cushion on the left. In the midst of it, there are several camellias. They are our best friends on sunny days.
The ground floor is for Refectory and kitchen. And also student entrance is at this floor. When you enter, you see very large hall. It was covered with carpet with a light blue color. The hall’s wall is beige. The wall on the right, there are several tableau. Refectory is at the end of the hall. It is so large that one hundred people can be served at once. Its walls were painted at beige. The ground was designed of white marble with light black waves and drawing. The dining tables were made of wood and their table clothes are turquoise. At the midst of table the hostel’s logo was printed. In the refectory, the kitchen is on the right. The kitchen’s walls were covered with white, simple ceramic tiles. Scullery is on the right of kitchen, the cooking section is in opposite of scullery and cellar is at the end of the kitchen.
The first floor is for management. The main entrance is at this floor. When you come in this entrance you firstly see lobby and then the management room on the left and guestroom on the right. The hall’s carpets are light blue and have little flower images. The door of the management room is a bit large and its color is brown. There are manager’s table is on the right and in front of it there are two leather cover armchairs. Its carpet is blue and has many geometrical shapes. Its curtains are quietly simple. The guestroom is quietly large and has a tranquil atmosphere. In the guest room there are a bed, and a shower. Its shape is similar to management room’s.
The classrooms are at third and fourth floors. The hall is a bit small, and its carpets are cream colored and have big flowers in their center. Classrooms’ walls were painted at turquoise. Their curtains are classically white. They are large enough to our comfort. The walls were painted at a tranquilizer color. There are ten rooms each floor; some of them are changing room. There is a computer room where you can find internet connection in quietly speed. You can study when you want and nobody certainly disturbs you.
The bedrooms are at the fifth and sixth floors. There are six berths each room. They have comfortable beds, and their walls were painted at light blue. The wardrobe rooms are at these floors and there are fifty wardrobes. Their metallic color is suitable for boy students. They are so safely that you wouldn’t have to lock your wardrobe. You see the locking wardrobe as a handicap. You will enjoy from a comfortable life.
It’s a privilege to stay at Vatan Hostel. I understood it after I registered to Vatan. I don’t expect anything in the world. Staying at Vatan is enough to me. I have already been in paradise before my death.
In the present day, electricity is the most important factor in terms of technological developments. Well developed countries need many energy resources to supply the demand for electricity. Nuclear plant is the best resource. Although it is advantageous it is preferred because of its bad effects. It has many effects over people, all the things living near, and environments.
Nuclear plant has big effects over people because of its radiation having emitted. Where it was built, it makes not only people at that time but also generations at following ages ill. When we look at the area where it was built we can see that epidemic diseases still affects inhabitants there. According to Professor Niels Bohr, the effects of a nuclear plant last for forty years at least.
Nuclear plant affects the environment it was established. Nuclear waste doesn’t disappear in a short time. So, the field it affects doesn’t use very long time and no plant grows healthily there. For example, in 1986, Chernobyl, nuclear accident in Ukraine affected all Black Sea shores and millions of sea creatures. Moreover, thousands of people had cancer. Aybars Gürpinar a scientist researching about nuclear systems said that Chernobyl is still affecting people and the environment.
“When we established the nuclear plants at an inhabitant place we supply our all energy need and can improve our security system.” An authority at The Turkish National Assembly said. However, when we consider its power on environment we can easily see that there is no place it can’t damage. I wonder about that If nuclear plants at millions kilometers distances can affect us how can he know it won’t damage our people. According to the report of the Association of Turkey Patrols, nowhere is suitable for establishing a nuclear plant.
A nuclear plant in Turkey exposes many effects we won’t be unable to carry its results. If a nuclear plant is established at a place its inhabitants should be explained its advantages and disadvantages. Otherwise, it will be a massacre.
Nobody is aware how wheat transforms to bread. When wheat turns into flour it goes through many difficult and long stages. It can be explained at three stages: harvesting, grinding, and cooking.
The first stage of this process is to harvest. Actually, it is the most difficult stage. After wheat adequately grows peasants shear it. Then they pick all wheat up to threshing floor, and separate anther from its stem by means of tractors and harvesting machines. This process would be done manually, but in our age, it is being done by means of technological vehicles.
The second step is to grind that it should be applied by experts. Wheat is taken to mill. Then it is triturated by expert millers. After turned into flour it is sent to bake house. Thanks to the technological improvements, the factory system has started to replace with the small mills and bake houses. But yet, many people willingly use the former system in Anatolia.
The last and easiest period is to cook. Baker fills flour in a huge cauldron. Then he adds salt, water and leaven to flour. After he kneads dough he gives bread shape to flour. After that he puts it into oven. Bread is ready to serve about six minutes later. Although this stage is easy it has to be applied by a master baker. Because if bread is not cooked by a master all efforts having been done turn out crabs.
Until bread is served it goes through many hard and gloomy periods. It is a great shame that we don’t consider these stages while throwing away bread.
We all know that most of deaths are due to traffic accidents, yet we don’t take necessary precautions. According to a survey, 10 % deaths are due to traffic accidents. There are there causes of traffic accidents: overspeed, alcohol, insomnia.
The first and also the most common reason is overspeed. In our age, the time is precious like a diamond. So, people don’t want to pass their time on roads. Some young people like to speed extremely. However, nobody considers that the end of the speed is death. Speed shortens the life not roads. It’s not forgotten that everybody has a family and the other people are on traffic.
The second one is alcohol. 30 % of traffic accidents are due to alcohol. Alcohol deteriorates the brain. A drunk man loses his ability of thought. Drunk men’s driving a car has already been prohibited by laws. In addition, peple mustn’t let them be in traffic either.
The other one is insomnia which leads to the most dangerous accidents. Truck drivers drive during many days. So, their big problem is insomnia. Some people want to visit their relatives on holidays. Thus, because they are not used to driving, they are easily tired of driving and likely to have an accident. In such cases, nobody must set off the road when they are alone.
Everybody certainly knows that the biggest causes of traffic accidents are overspeed, alcohol, and insomnia. We mustn’t ignore the enemy of the humanity. When we drive a car we shouldn’t forget that we have a family and there are the other people on traffic.
Everybody wants to live Istanbul, especially young people. My greatest dream was also to go to Istanbul. When I was going there, like everybody, I also loved it very much at first but later I get bored. As bored, I became to aware how my homeland has many advantages, beauty... I saw that my homeland, Erzurum, is as beautiful as Istanbul.
Erzurum is more security, for example, snatching is more common in Istanbul. My home is more tranquil. The neighborhood is more common; at Istanbul nobody at a flat knows their neighbour but at Erzurum everyone knows neighbors not only in their flat but also district. My homeland is as a historical place as Istanbul. For example, there are a lot of historical places in Erzurum: Lalapasha Mosque - built by Selchuklu state, The Twin Minaret medresseh, fountains... Istanbul has more variety people than Erzurum. Although Turks only live in Erzurum, there are Turk, French, English, etc. in Istanbul. The traffic is heavier at Istanbul than at Erzurum. The air is more polluted at Istanbul. So dadashs, Erzurum person, are healthier, more energetic.
Istanbul is beautiful, great but the other cities, especially Erzurum, at Anatolian is also wonderful. However, our youth must be its awareness.
“Capital punishment is a must to the peace” said the Turkish court. Laws not being strict like capital punishment increase the rates of crime. When we look at the crime results it is not only a must but also an obligation.
Death punishment provides a man to think once more. It is so strong that it always keeps low the rates of crime. Everyone can not easily commit a crime. The public live in many safer and peaceful environment. However, so-called human rights defenders claim that it is a shame to the humanity history and must be entirely forbidden. This point of view is illiberality and an inconsiderate idea. Because if you don’t hang a traitor and put him in prison for eight or ten years, there, he will eat the meal of whom he betrayed and killed before. After he evacuates he will restart to kill the people. We can effortlessly see it when we look at archives of the countries.
All the countries regret that they have forbidden it. When we legislate it again, we can solve the problems on crime without any effort. This is not shame; in contrast, it is the best solution.

Tornadoes are one of the deadliest and most unpredictable villains mankind will ever face. There is no rhyme or reason, no rhythm to it’s madness. Tornados are one of the most terrifying natural events that occur, destroying homes and ending lives every year. April 29th, 1995, a calm, muggy, spring night I may never forget. Joey, a buddy I grew up with, just agreed to travel across state with me so we could visit a friend in Lubbock. Joey and I were admiring the beautiful blue bonnets, which traveled for miles like little blue birds flying close to the ground. The warm breeze brushed across the tips of the blue bonnets and allowed them to dance under the perfectly clear blue sky. In the distance, however, we could see darkness. A rumbling sky was quickly approaching.
We continued down the infinitely long interstate towards our destination. Thunder clouds continued to rumble in, like an ocean tide rolling closer and closer to the beach front. Within minutes the entire landscape was calm and dark. It looked like a total eclipse of the sun, and the once moving blue bonnets were now completely still and somber. The rain began to trickle down out of the sky. The sound of the rain, as it hit our car, was like that of pins dropping on a metal surface. The intensity of the rain increased as we ventured further into the eye of the storm.
As we approached an overpass, we noticed a parking lot of used cars piled underneath. By now, the rain had created a wall of water, which surrounded our car. We decided to pull over and sprint to the underpass to join the other frightened observers. What Joey and I were unaware of, what we couldn't possibly know, was that a tornado was already on the ground frantically spinning its way towards our position.
The twister had just hit the ground and was gaining power and strength as it devoured everything in its path. We found ourselves even more frightened than we were just moments ago. The whirling "finger of God" was approaching us at a tremendous rate. The sound surrounding us was outrageous, it sounded something like a steam locomotive roaring towards us, whining and whistling with an awful high pitched roar. As the rumbling cloud of darkness approached us, we started to realize it's outstanding power. This event would be one that we wouldn't soon forget. The rain had almost completely stopped, but the wind was nearly blowing us off the ground as we huddled together under the overpass. We could hear the screeching sounds of car tires as they started sliding across the rain-soaked cement pavement. Electrical explosions lit up the darkened sky as the tornado ripped over power lines, snapping them as if they were toothpicks. Screams erupted from the crowd as the tornado crossed directly over us, smashing large objects into the overpass payment. We were terrified as the twister rumbled over the roadway leaving us untouched.
Shortly thereafter it vanished from the sky, leaving only shattered pieces of falling fence posts and telephone polls. Everyone slowly unraveled from the huddle that had protected them moments earlier. The sun started poking holes in the dark rumbling sky; the wind and rain had completely ceased, leaving it morbidly calm. The sun burned away every trace of lingering darkness in the sky. It was amazing to look back and see a mile long trail of destruction surrounded by homes and fences that were left totally untouched.
I remember thinking to myself how amazing this moment was, and how grateful I was to be alive. Anytime I look back on those few moments of my life, it makes me realize that I must cherish every single moment of it.
